Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station, Thane was established on 19.09.1981and is situated among the lush green environs.The environmental beauty and charm of the place has given this temple of learning a high pedestal in the history of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Under the patronage of Gp. Capt. Akhil Kumar Gupta , the present Chairman of the Vidyalaya and the able guidance of the Officiating Principal Mrs. K R Gowri Devi continuously striving hard to achieve good results. The school is very well connected since it is situated in an area which is easily accessible from the central suburbs by road and from the Central Railway line, Thane, being the nearest railway station. Vidyalaya is approx 8 kms. from Thane Railway Station and can be easily reached by Bus No. 90 and 95 for Kolshet.
