K V AFS Thane has well equipped , spacious laboratories so as to impart knowledge on the practical aspects of subjects - Mathematics , Chemistry, Physics & Biology. Each lab is enriched with computers, OHP ,specimens ,charts, models, equipments, CDs, ready recokners , chemicals for easy , quick accessibility.

"Learning by Doing" being the essence of present education, KV Thane's resource room has abundance of teaching-learning materials prepared & purchased by the primary staff - picture cards, flash cards, charts, puzzels, puppets, models, toys, CDs, cassettes, blocks, stamp-it power-point presentations, beads, measuring units ....... to enrich learning experiences. The project of our school being " Spoken English" the resource room comprises of Linguaphone Set , Reading Cards by CIEFL , big picture books , rhymes Cds/cassettes, story books , Read along series of "Speak English Green"

Learning is enhanced by triggring audio - visual senses through film shows, PPTs, CDs, Transperancies, TV/DVD.
