9TH June to 18TH June 2010-Coaching camp report
As per the direction from the Assistant Commissioner Mumbai Region a ten day coaching camp was organized by Mr Nikhil Tikam -coach & me on 09/06/2010 at KV AFS THANE campus
Thirty two boys and girls from the1st shift attended camp for Hand ball kho-kho & skating. It once again shows a growing passion for Handball in Thane. The level of performance and improvement throughout the camp was outstanding from all the players, with participants ranging from age 12 to 17 years. The girls especially demonstrated great skill and technique and a desire to improve.
Principal Ms Sudeep Arora counseled the student on last day of coaching camp and awards are presented to some of the best and most improved players.

4 students of KV AFS, Thane was selected for 39th National Sports Meet at Hyderabad. Out of 4 students, 2 were selected for School Games Foundation of India (SGFI). The SGFI students players are: -
