Nano World – An ICONSAT 2010 programme

IIT Bombay has organized an International conference on Nano Science and Technology on 17.02.2010. 15 students of class 11 along with 2 teachers Mr Arun Kumar PGT(Physics), Mrs Umesh Srivastava TGT(Science) attended this programme. Students received void knowledge of Nano Technologies from the presentations given by the scientist.

Times NIE Medley- Dance and Le Theatre Programme

The Times of India group presented Medley- Dance and Le Theatre competition for the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Mumbai Region Army School and Navy children school of Mumbai. This event was held on 15.02.10 at Mulla Auditoriam Navy Nagar.
20 students of our school participated in the dance and skit competitions. Mast. Abhas Yadav of class IX has been awarded with the special prize in acting.

Teaching of Peace Education

Sister Bindiya, Sister Rohini and Brother Nandlal of Prajapita Bramhakumari Academics gave lecture on 11.02.2010. the lecture topic was “values in the life of students”. They explained how discipline and positive attitude make the students successful. They demonstrated hoe the values can be imbibed through Meditation. Students of class VII and Integrity club are attended this lecture.

NIE Times Reporter Programme

NIE Times School reporters meet was held on 10.02.10 at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi. Apoorva of class IX A and Supratik of class IX C (2009-10) participated in the events.

SUPRATIK SARKAR of class XC (2010-11) has been selected as STAR CORRESPONDENT for Times NIE during the academic session 2010 -2011.

Interschool Science Exhibition

The following students of our school participated in the Interschool Science Project Exhibition held on 05.01.2010. at the Sree Maa Vidyalaya, Hiranandani Estate. The students are Mast. Amogh Lele, Vaishakh, Sujay, Manish, Saurabh and Subodh of class V A. They exhibited the project on the topic “ Global Warming and its Effect on Earth”
