Ms. SUDEEP AROARA, PRINCIPAL'S ACHIEVEMENTS

1. received a Letter of Appreciation on 24-03-2010 from Eduheal Foundation, New Delhi for the quantum of work done in promoting the various educational initiatives and encouraging students to take up careers in Maths/Science/English/Cyber and Biotech.

2. got registered with rehabilitation council of India

3. received ‘The Letter Of Appreciation’ by Science Olympiad Foundation for the achievement of students of the Vidyalaya in 12th National Science Olympiad.

4. received Certificate of excellence from the KVS to KV AFS Thane for AISSE 2009.


5 .  received ‘The letter of Appreciation’ by SOF for the achievement of students in 3rd International Mathematics Olympiad.


6. was awarded by S Radhakrishnan Sanman by Avantika Group for participation in Improvement of Social Environment (Nature, Art, Culture).


7. was the Convener of Affiliation Committee by CBSE of two schools: -City International School and St. Joseph High School.

 

Honourable Ts. Sharavdorj,  Secretary General of Secretariat of the State Great Hural/Parliament of Mongolia honoured Mr. V. Pardha Saradhi, PGT English  with a Certificate and a gift on 14 May 2010 for his voluntary and sincere work to enhance the English Communicative Skills of the officers of the Secretariat of the State Great Hural of Mongolia  from December 2009 to May 2010.

GERMAN LANGUAGE COURSE (II Level)

The II LEVEL German language course was conducted by KVS from August 2009 to March 2010 M M B, Mumbai. Our following teachers are the toppers in Mumbai Region.

1. Miss Pratima Nigudkar TGT (Eng) 95% marks

2. Mrs Manisha s Kandalkar PRT 95 % marks

Congratulations to Mrs Kankana M, TGT ( SST) and all participants:- Kankana Maelzer's team of "Parliamentarians", adjudged winner of the Regional representation and
Runner up at the Zonal Level in a Youth Parliament competition, was in Delhi to meet Sri PK Bansal, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs & Water Resources on her team's achievement at the All India competition, where KV Thiruvanthapuram stood 1st.
Our Music Teacher Mr. Sachin Pardesi was a Resource person in the 'In-service Course for Music teachers' at Z.I.E.T. Mumbai from 17th Aug to 30th Aug 2009.

Mrs Joan Santhi Joseph, PGT Chemistry of our Vidyalaya worked as Resourse Person for the PGTs (Chemistry) In Service Course held in KV IIT Powai from 07.06.2009 to 18.06.2009.

GERMAN LANGUAGE COURSE (I Level)

The German language course was conducted by KVS from 4th May 2009 to 8th June 2009 at K V 3 Colaba, Mumbai. Our following teachers are the toppers in Mumbai Region.

1. Mrs Manisha s Kandalkar PRT 93 % marks (I SHIFT)

2. Miss Pratima Nigudkar TGT (Eng) 85% marks (II SHIFT)

INTEL COMPUTER TRAINING FOR TEACHERS 2008

The INTEL Computer Training for all teachers in KV Thane was conducted by Ms. Smita Vishnu Tiple (PGT Computer Science) in Computer Lab. The training was conducted from 20.10.08 to 24.10.08 after School Hours. All the Teachers attended the training.

WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS 2008

Workshop for English was conducted in KV AFS Thane. It focused mainly on Phonetics. The venue Principal, Course Director Ms. Sudeep Arora herself took initiative to upbring the speaking of English in this vidyalaya. All the Primary teachers and Secondary teachers attended this workshop conducted daily after school hours 1:00 to 2:30 pm for three days.
